The race for life event is on Sunday. After been satisfying the sweets urge yesterday ,thought today was the good day to burn off the calories.I am doing the 5 k race for life( well walking) to promote cancer screening as part of cancer prevention and early treatment through cancer screening

Set off after a very light lunch, my goal been to complete 5k in 40 minutes. Switched on my fitness app to count my distance and hooray was able to 7k within 50 minutes. Everyday school run walking has helped!!!
One thing I noticed was how my mind kept telling me I could do it, as if it was a race day today. Feel good but my legs ache! .Another final practice on Wednesday and then rest till Sunday! Looking forwards to this event.This is my second charity walk,first been the midnight walk for breast cancer.Wish me luck....
