Honestly, I am very fed being a fat riot. So from now
on, I am going to keep myself well and fit (i know its not new year and too
early for next year. Resolutions can be made any day.) Have you reached a end
point when you would say "That’s it"? My day is today. Few posts from
today will be regarding how I am trying to stay well and helping my poor body. What
goes in determines how I feel. Yes?
Generally harmful food has to be avoided so that Mr
Ugly (Fat) stays away. Have to get rid of him. Evidence shows by incorporating
the friendly food. (Mind you, Junk food pretend to be friendly, err….. they are
so decisive aren't they???). My first friendly food is the antioxidants, a
important one as it boosts my immune system. Hmmm need them.
Antioxidants-What are these? These are molecules that
inhibit a chemical reaction. (Oxidation=chemical reaction). Clinical trials
have proven lack of antioxidants are risk factors to cancer, heart diseases and
stroke. Got to be true then! I don’t want to be disabled before 70!. Ascorbic
acid is an oxidation reduction
agent. Most red or bright coloured fruits/veg are rich in ascorbic acid
aren't they?
Over the weekend shopped for some of my favourite
fruits, coincidently they are good source of antioxidants. Strawberry, cherries,
mango, oranges, pomergranate (nibble for telly time better than popcorn, but
damn RCB is out of play off). A fruit salad as in the picture with honey on top
seems a treat.
