Like i mentioned in my previous post(dated 28/5) that i would touch about forcing people to pray,been drafting this since 2 days.
For me, prayer is personal conversation or a gesture that comes from my heart. Can i be forced to have a conversation from my heart? No way...Even if its forced how would the other person know whether i am genuinely praying? Would it be normal to pretend when been forced? just because i do not want to offend that individual.That's what i did and still do sometimes.For instance, Few months back i was compelled to accompany my friend's religious place. i didn't want to offend,so pretended to pray. Even though its was forced gesture it made my friend happy.So i did it..
All more important factor is my relationship with that particular person...everything depends on it.I can be honest & resist the gesture or just pretend to make the individual happy.Have you ever felt forced into praying? what did you do??? Does the relationship of the person matter in deciding??? Share your opinions on this.
